X-Stream 12-Site complete systems are aeroponic propagators for taking cuttings. In aeroponic propagation the cutting is not inserted in a cube it is held in place in a neoprene clone collar in a 50mm net pot and the stem of the cutting is exposed in the system which provides a perfect mix of water and air. Aeroponic propagation is an incredibly efficient technique and cuttings root very quickly.

Below is an instructional video from the manufacturer which shows how to set up and operate X-Stream aeroponic propagators. The video shows the older 20 Site version but the approach is the same for the newer designs and for whatever sized version you are using.
