DWC Oxypot XL Kit Product Details:

The Oxypot XL is a deep water culture system which submerges the roots of the plant into a highly oxygenated nutrient solution. Plants are positioned into a uniquely contructed tray which has been designed to allow the roots to search for the nutrient.

The plant is held in position by clay pebbles and fed by a drip ring that passes over the top of the roots and then falls through into the tank, whilst the roots exposed in the tank are constantly fed by the oxygenated nutrient solution. The solution in the tank is projected upwards as a result of the pressure from the air stones in the reservoir. This constant supply of nutrient and oxygen makes this a system that can produce incredible results.

Oxypots Usage:

Growing in oxypots is pretty straight forward, it's all about keeping your nutrients at the right strength and the right level in the bucket.

Once a week you want to completely empty and refill your oxypot with fresh nutrient solution. Throughout the week as the level of nutrients falls top up your oxypot with 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutrient solution to maintain the level and adjust your pH as necessary.

Avoid letting the level of your oxypot fall too low as the less water in the bucket the more toxic the nutrients become. Also keep an eye on your plant health as nutrient strength can fluctuate quite dramatically especially in flower. If the tips of your leaves are going white or yellow this is tip burn caused by over nutrification so lower your nutrient strength or dilute it with more water.
